Want to see what roller derby is all about? Ages 7 to 17 can join our junior team, the Mad Misfits, and women ages 18+ can join our Mad Knockers. We are also looking for people who just want to be involved! Skating and non-skating officials are always welcome and pay nothing to join. We will train you from 0 skill up. We have both recreational and competitive players on our team. We want to welcome you to the pack!

MRD Skate nights are back! 6-9pm at Great Brook School in Antrim. Admission is $5 and skate rental is $6. We have skates as small as 7 toddler, and as large as 15 mens. You can bring your own skates if they have clean indoor wheels and are in good condition. We will have some check skates at the door. No hard toe or heal stops are allowed (it damages the floor, and we love our school). We often have different fundraisers and competitions. Tickets are on sale now and are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Half price for students with ID, military with ID, and seniors. Kids <10 are FREE!

We will hold a Chuck-A-Wheel contest during each half time. Proceeds will benefit the Avenue A Teen Center in Antrim. The 50/50 raffle will be drawn at the 2nd half time.

Only two skate nights left for the season! Come to the Roller Disco Skate Night at Great Brook School in Antrim. Saturday May 13th from 6 to 9pm. Loads of great food including snow cones and fried dough, and a fantastic costume contest with great prizes open to all!

Admission is $5. Kids under 5 get free admission, and families of 5 or more don’t pay more than $20 (doesn’t include skate rental). Skate rentals are $6. We have kid sizes 7 to men size 15! We have skate trainers for new skaters, and plenty of space to relax and chill. Family friendly and open to everyone.

March is a busy month for MRD! First up we are hosting the Bennington Community Supper with a Taco Bar on March 9th! We hope the people of Bennington NH enjoy and eat their fill of tacos. Bennington Community Supper is held at Bennington Elementary School.

Next is March Madness on March 11th. This is a junior double header with Level1/2 as our first game, then Level 3 as our second game. Doors open at 12:30. Admission for spectators is FREE! Snacks, drinks, and a bunch of great merch will be available for purchase.

Next up we have Punk Rock Skate night at Great Brook School from 6 to 9 on March 18th. This will feature a costume contest with superior prizes, and Nachos! Along with other great snacks and goodies, drinks, and skate rentals. This will also have a Got Sneaker Fundraiser. Bring your gently used sneakers that you no longer want, and get $1 off for each pair (up to 5 pairs at $5 for FREE admission to this event). These sneakers will be collected and the league will get money for each pair. This will keep sneakers out of landfills, reuse, and recycle. Look into Got Sneakers HERE. See the Facebook event HERE.

Monadnock Roller Derby has some fun filled events coming up! First up is our Friendship Skate Night! Celebrate friends and come dressed as a TWIN with your friend! Costume contest with great prizes, food, and games. Admission is $5 and skate rentals are $6. ALL proceeds from admissions will go to Great Brook School’s 8th graders to help support their DC trip! Some come and help support them.

We also have the return of the I Hate Valentine’s Day Brawl! This is a double header scrimmage with junior skaters playing the first bout, and adults playing the second. Admission is FREE! Food and refreshments will be sold. Come check it out! Doors open at 12:30, first whistle (Juniors) 1:30, second game (Adults) 3:30.

Come to the BEST mixed scrimmage around! The I HATE VALENTINE’S DAY BRAWL from Monadnock Roller Derby is BACK! This year we will have 2 scrimmages. One for juniors (Level 1, 2, and 3), and one for adults. Both scrimmages welcome all genders.
